　　On April 7-8, 2010, the China Academy of Wealth Planning and Management (CAoWPM) respectively coordinated with Financing Association and Law Association of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Wuhan University Institute of International Law, to hold free talks named “Application of Law & Practice for International Wealth Planning”. Mr. Zhang Xiaodong, the Chairman of CAoWPM gave the lecture; Pro. Xiao Yongping, Dean of the Law School of Wuhan University, the Honorary Chairman of CAoWPM presided over it. The attendants were candidates for M D and Ph. D, as well as senior students of B. D.

Applying the basic concepts and practices to some famous cases, such as IKEA, Kung Yu Sum’s fortune dispute, etc., Mr. Zhang introduced the most effective vehicles like trust, private foundation and offshore company, which could be used to protect both tangible and intangible assets by isolating the ownership. Furthermore, Mr. Zhang foresaw the bright future of wealth planning industry and analysed the musts to be such a practitioner. After the lecture, the attendants expressed their doubts on relevant problems.

The first try to cooperate with universities turns out to be a big success.
